Hannah Berger, M.P.A, began working with Fitz Nonprofit Consulting in the spring of 2016. Since then, she has become an invaluable member of the Fitz Team and my “partner-in-fundraising-crime”.
Hannah’s specialty is as a philanthropy coach to nonprofit staff and board leaders. She pulls on her incredible experience and expertise in working with major donors from her days as a practitioner. As Director of Development for The New Children’s Museum, Hannah successfully re-engaged over 75% of major donors who had stopped their support of the Museum. As Director of Development for the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, she increased fundraising from $1 million per year to $5 million in just 2 1/2 years.
As Fitz’s Senior Consultant, she has conducted feasibility studies for Cathedral Catholic High School, The Winston School, The Foundation for Grossmont & Cuyamaca Colleges, and Coronado Historical Association as well as coached staff and board leaders of Nativity Prep Academy, Thrive Public Schools and Food Systems Alliance through creating and executing major giving programs. She also conducted a board retreat for St. Barnabas Senior Services.
Join Hannah for a very special workshop next week at The Hive at The Leichtag Foundation: “Managing Up: Secrets to Stellar Board Engagement”. The cost is $18/person to cover the cost of breakfast. I am giving away 2 FREE tickets to the first people to comment on this blog post.
